Sell Ores September 5–7 QoL Patch
Mobile controls, new code drop and weekly cadence confirmed.
The Ore Drillers shipped the expected September quality-of-life patch on September 5–7, 2026. It is a small patch by design — the team said in the August 25 patch notes that September would open with a mobile-focused QoL wave before the Floor 8 launch lands mid-month. This page covers every confirmed change from the live build and the first weekly code drop under the new cadence.
What shipped
Mobile touch target improvements
The most visible change is larger interactive areas on mobile. Buttons in the gear menu, the redeem box and the Fuser interface have been enlarged. The tap zones on the Roll machine and the Drone upgrade panel were also widened. This addresses the most common new-player complaint in the Discord — players on small phones accidentally tapping the wrong item or missing the Redeem button entirely. The change does not alter any game mechanics; it is purely a UI accessibility improvement.
ADMINMUTATION code
A new code dropped alongside the patch:
- ADMINMUTATION — Redeem for one Admin Coating Spray. This item applies the Admin Coating to a single ore, which adds a 1.5x Cash multiplier for 24 hours before the coating degrades. The code was confirmed live on the official Discord and verified by multiple community members on September 5.
Weekly code cadence confirmed
The developers posted in the #announcements channel on September 1 confirming that starting this week, they will drop at least one new code every weekend. The ADMINMUTATION code is the first evidence that the cadence is real and not just a promise. Expect the next code to land around September 12–14, coinciding with the likely Floor 8 launch window.
Dark mode toggle — not yet shipped
The dark mode toggle was present in the August 25 client files as an unfinished feature, and the September 5–7 patch was expected to ship it. It did not. The toggle is still wired into the gear menu in the current build but the visual treatment remains incomplete. The developers have not commented on a revised timeline. The September 2026 roadmap tracks this as a pending feature.
Code redemption history panel — not yet shipped
The code redemption history UI was also listed as a planned September feature in the August 25 datamines. It has not appeared in the live build as of September 7. Like dark mode, it is still pending and tracked on the roadmap page.
Impact on the meta
This patch has zero impact on the current meta. No ore values changed, no Pet multipliers shifted and no new Floors or Pets shipped. The Best Ores and Best Pets tier lists remain accurate as of this patch.
What comes next
The next major milestone is the Floor 8 launch, expected around September 12–14 based on the August cadence pattern. The September 2026 roadmap covers everything expected in that patch: a new mining tier above Mythic, the 52nd pet (nicknamed Void Cat), Voidshard+ ore and Fuser tier 4.
